A Cincinnati-born NYC-based comedian used hard work and determination to jum from an absurdist joke writer to one of the most impressive young storytellers in comedy. In 2014 Alex was one of the top one hundred comics selected for season eight of NBC's Last Comic Standing. In late 2015 Alex released his album "Hello." which debuted at number three on iTunes. Alex was also recently featured in both the Chicago Tribune and the Huffington Post. Also, thanks for reading all of this!
When it comes to comedy, Mike Cronin does it all: stand up, writing, improv, film, and sketches. Even some of his characters do stand up. In fact, recently he made it to the finals of the Funniest Person In Cincinnati Contest as himself and also a character. In the stand up world, he appeared in the first ever Limestone Comedy Festival. Mike's film work includes three award-winning 48 Hour Film Festival projects and co-writing/directing /starring in a music video for "The Hipster Song," which has over 800,000 views on YouTube.
Ryan Singer is the rarest of breeds: A comic’s comic who electrifies mainstream audiences with material that is both uncompromising and unpretentious. LaughSpin says, “With his high-energy delivery and unpretentious leanings, there’s not a lot to dislike about comedian Ryan Singer. And it’s not just us saying it: In the last few years, he’s won over audiences headlining the nation’s finer comedy clubs and was hailed by Marc Maron in Rolling Stone as a comedian “who should be big.”
Now he travels around the country working clubs and colleges. He has appeared at Caroline's on Broadway and Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. His style is sharp, and high energy. He draws from his many and varied interests to relate to most any crowd. He blends New York cynicism with genuine Midwestern agreeability to present a different take on both the trivial and substantial aspects of life. DJ is a firm believer that people are pretty much the same everywhere, and if you can make those people laugh, you don't have to have a real job.
Future Science is also a live multimedia sketch comedy show written and performed by comedians Karl Spaeth, Logan Lautzenheiser, Andy Gasper and Chris Weir. The comedians play fictionalized scientist versions of themselves, setting the show in a world where every TED Talk is given by an insane person. Their absurdist comedy is equal parts sharp intelligence and unapologetic silliness. They combine their influences of Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall and Late Night with Conan O’Brien into something utterly original.
