Are you a local filmmaker or know someone who is?
We’re really excited to announce Flat 12 is hosting a new monthly event, Reel to Reel, showcasing local indie films and bringing filmmakers, film-goers, artists and musicians together for screenings, live music, art, and yes, beer. Our first installment will happen Thursday, December 5th from 7-9 pm. Come to the tap room and stay for this free event!

We want submissions now. Don’t be shy, it’s a curated event but a diverse one. The goal is not to be exclusive but to show creative works within reason and taste.
Guidelines for submissions:
1.) Local filmmakers are favored but local isn’t a requirement.
2.) The filmmaker doesn’t have to be in attendance as long as we have their permission to screen their work.
3.) All genres are welcome, but we may highlight a specific style on a particular month.
4.) There is no length requirement for submissions, although it’s unlikely we’ll show a feature length as we would rather showcase more filmmakers at a given event than fewer.
5.) We cannot guarantee screening for all submissions.
We have a great venue and promotion in place for the series. We are currently seeking short films, animation, super 8, and other creative works. We’d also like interest from musicians/performers for the event and artists interested in showing their work in a gallery-type opening the same night.
Please contact and send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
