In the long and storied history of Flat Tuesday(2 years!), the Flat 12 brewers have concocted brews of mysterious and fanciful nature. Witness, one King Cake Beer, or the Chicory IPA, the Oyster Stout. Then throw in some King Cake, plastic babies, beads, gumbo, jambalaya or crawfish. And some crawfish races.

This year’s plans are starting to take shape.

Beers: (To be named*) Pogue’s Run Porter aged on Tabasco-infused oak chips. Half Cycle IPA aged on Tabasco-infused oak chips. And Praline Pecan Amber.

Food: Chef Dan’s – Home of Southern Comfort Food – will join in the fun.
