Reel to Reel Local Film Night Presents Found on the Farm: Steel Sculpture with Todd Bracik

Reel to Reel Presents Found on the Farm: Steel Sculpture with Todd Bracik

Saturday | April 16 | 8:30P | 21+ | FREE

We invite you out Saturday, April 16 to support local filmmaker, assemblage sculptor, and longtime Flat12 bartender, Todd Bracik, for the screening of his documentary "Found On The Farm: Steel Sculpture with Todd Bracik." The documentary examines the sculpture process of Bracik’s latest sculpture commission of the same name— from collecting of the artifacts, creation of the piece, to installation of the piece at the law firm it was commissioned for.

For the occasion, we will also have a limited release of the "Sculpted Farmhouse Ale". Similar to Todd's work with found objects in his sculpture, this particular style is a combination of ingredients traditionally gathered from what was available around the farmhouse. Todd also used styrian golden, a Slovenian hop for the beer as a dedication to his Slovenian family heritage.

Todd was commissioned to make the sculpture by a law firm who has a farming clientele and a family history in farming. He used only tools and found objects from the firm’s family farm.

Join us at 8:30p for the free screening, and support local film!
